We are two like-minded, health-curious friends based in the Lion City, on a quest to discover the ultimate guide to thriving and embracing the best of midlife and beyond – or as we like to call it 'The Midlife Project.'
Imagining midlife, I expected a smooth transition, leveraging an already active and well-informed health approach. Reality, however, threw me a curveball, requiring adaptability and resilience—qualities inseparable from a sense of humor. This shift has only intensified my curiosity about how lifestyle choices and environmental exposure impact well-being. Paired with our generation's paradox—navigating health challenges amid incredible scientific advances—I am both captivated and concerned. Join me on this exploration, as I learn, adapt, and craft a personal roadmap for a future I hope is defined by robust health, functional independence, and profound dignity.
There’s nothing like turning 50 to make you contemplate what the future might hold. Yet there’s never been a more exciting time to age. We know so much more about epigenetics, longevity and health span because of the advances in science. Personally for me - there is no excuse not to take care of myself now so that the older version of me stays limber, independent and healthy for as long as possible. I am embarking on this journey of discovery to help myself, and hopefully others on the same quest, learn more about how to achieve longer health span through evidence-based tools and techniques.
